Southalls are thrilled to announce that we’re now a premium partner of Made in the Midlands.
Established in 2009, Made in the Midlands, part of the Made in Group, actively champions local manufacturers and challenges the erosion of British industry. Demonstrating their commitment to growth, inclusivity and development, members sign a pledge to open communications channels with local firms, take on apprentices and export to new markets.
We’re proud to be Made in the Midlands’ first-ever health and safety partner, working alongside the Made in Group’s 600-strong private network of UK manufacturing heroes, including Portakabin, Schneider Electric, Jaguar Land Rover, Liberty, Rocol, Moog, Mazak, Siemens and PPG.
Continuing our commitment to local manufacturers
Since we opened our doors in 2003, Southalls has supported hundreds of Midlands manufacturing sites, boosting compliance practices within local businesses and ensuring our neighbours succeed in the safe working environment they deserve.
The recent COVID-19 crisis brought us even closer to our clients across the sector. As manufacturers stepped up to keep the country moving forward, we helped them tackle not only day-to-day safety concerns – such as machinery, handling and transport risks – but also critical, constantly evolving compliance requirements to make round-the-clock operations a safe reality.
Our new Made in the Midlands partnership will provide even sharper insights into the industry’s challenges, goals and growth plans – so we can continue to help local manufacturers become safer, stronger and more successful.
